Carpinus betulus is made from buds of the hornbeam tree. It is an essential remedy for coagulation problems, and is an antihemorragic. It does this by increasing platelets and agglutination. It has a strong action on the respiratory system and works as an antispasmodic in inflammation of the ENT system.
