Shipping Policy


Please allow up to 5 business days for us to receive products from our supplier. Some items can be shipped same-day, others need to ordered. If the time required to ship from Toronto will be longer than 5 days, we will inform you.

All transactions are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

Shipping Charges

These are calculated automatically during the check out procedure with our shopping cart.  The charges depend on the shipping method you choose, on the weight and on where you are located. Shipping, unless otherwise requested, is provided by Canada Post.

You will receive a confirmation of your order within one business day.  You can call 416-778-0085 (or 1-800 913 8870) or email anytime to check the status of your order.

Remote Locations

Remote locations are postal codes that are difficult to serve. Examples are:

•  Towns far from a shipper's hub

•  Towns that are infrequently served by shippers

• Canada Post Air Stage Locations (where mail must be airlifted at certain times of the year)

Please allow an additional 2-5 days for delivery to these locations for all shipping methods.

Outside Canada

Please note that Riverdale Homeopathy Books is not responsible for customs brokerage, import duty or taxes, local shipping or other additional charges that you may have to pay in order to receive your order in a foreign country.


If you are associated with an eligible homeopathy school, bookstore, membership organization or study group, ask about special discounts.

Undeliverable Packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we will contact you in order to correct any errors and will ship again, using the same delivery service as ordered, at no extra charge. If we can’t get in touch with you we will issue a full refund including shipping charges.

Why Was My Package Undeliverable?

Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable for one of the following reasons:

Item is too big for a P.O. Box. Some items too big to ship to a P.O. Box must be shipped to a street address.

Incorrect Address. If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.

Carrier Does Not Deliver to the Address. Canada Post may not deliver to some addresses. If you also have a P.O. Box address, it's best to use that address for your orders. Also, if you (or your office) have put in a request for address forwarding, please note that Canada Post only forwards first-class mail and magazines, and does not forward packages.


You may return any of the following items to Riverdale Homeopathy, for any reason, for a full refund (we'll also refund the return shipping cost, only if the return is a result of our error) within 30 days of delivery of your shipment:

•  Any book in its original condition.

•  Any unopened (still in its plastic wrap) CD, DVD, or software.

•  We do not accept returns of homeopathic remedies or supplements.

Please note that we cannot accept the return of opened items or items returned more than 30 days past delivery. We can only process returns and refunds for items purchased at

We'll notify you of your refund via e-mail or telephone after we've received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days after we receive your return.

Replacement of Damaged or Defective Items

If you received a defective item that is sold by Riverdale Homeopathy and need to replace it with the same item please call us at 416-778-0085 to arrange for a replacement.
