Alnus glutinosa is a remedy for the circulatory system, most strikingly after the acute stage of cerebral and coronary issues. It can increase circulation and regrowth of cells after myocardia infarction (heart attack) and cerebral infarction (ischemic stroke). It also has anti-coagulant and anti-thrombotic properties. It has the ability to increase cognitive function in cases of memory loss and senile dementia. It is a natural antibiotic and detoxifies the digestive system, and can be used in cases of IBS, ulcers, colitis, diverticulitis and celiac disease. It works well in cases of chronic and allergic urticaria.
